What are the dates of the 2019 rally?
The dates for the 2019 rally are Saturday, October 12 thru Wednesday, October 16.

Is my vehicle eligible to participate?

What is the entrance fee for 2019 and what does it include?
The entry fee for the 2019 Copperstate Overland is still TBD.  The Copperstate Overland is the only event of its kind. The caliber of trials, scenery, overnight accommodations, amenities, and hospitality found on the Copperstate Overland is unparalleled. Not to mention the sheer number of man hours it takes our volunteers to plan the Overland. For the 5th annual run, we will be staying on houseboats which have greatly increased the cost of then event, but we know will make for an unforgettable experience.

What is the route for 2019?
We are currently working on the route but we will be departing from and returning to Cameron, AZ which is approximately 1 hour from Flagstaff, AZ.  We will be seeing the unparalleled scenery of Marble Canyon, the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and we will traverse through parts of the Navajo Nation not seen by many,

How many cars do you accept?
We are limiting the number of vehicles to 20. We are expecting to receive many more applications than available spots. Please do not be discouraged if you are placed on the waitlist.

When are applications due?
Applications are due on Friday, May 3 and must be filled out online.  Notification of acceptance is no later than Monday, May 11.

What happens if I need mechanical assistance on the road?
The Copperstate Overland is blessed to have the involvement of many dedicated people and organizations, and in no area is that dedication more apparent than when mechanical assistance is needed. We will travel with a team of specialized mechanics, as well as volunteers whose job it is to assist with any needed repairs.

Although we provide mechanical assistance on the road, a properly prepared vehicle is the responsibility of the driver. All accepted cars will be required to undergo a vehicle safety inspection prior to arrival. A certified mechanic is required to inspect your vehicle and sign-off that it is in rally ready condition.
