For 18 years the Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000 has offered participants the best road and finest scenic routes in and around Arizona. The route is thoughtfully selected to deliver total enjoyment and the exhilaration that comes with driving a vintage automobile.
 
The Copperstate 1000 committee is comprised of auto enthusiasts who have driven every Arizona highway and byway, either as participants or route specialists. The committee, assisted by officers from the Arizona Department of Public Safety selects the best route to test the limits of vintage auto driving. Anticipated weather conditions, road surfaces, varying terrain and the potential for flat-out fun are just some of the factors used in deciding the “ultimate drivers’ route.”
 
Motorcycle DPS officers accompany the rally along the entire route to ensure trouble free travel. Mechanics follow the route along with tow trucks provided by AAA, and Bell Lexus chase cars; you can be assured every precaution is taken to address the occasional unexpected situation.
