About Us

The Bell Lexus Copperstate 1000 is one of the premier vintage car road rallies in North America. The Men’s Arts Council (MAC) created the event in 1990 as a fundraiser for Phoenix Art Museum. For 17 consecutive years this event has set the benchmark for excellence, bringing the finest vintage automobiles in the world to the scenic highways of Arizona.

This annual event celebrates the automotive cultural legacy by featuring some of the finest working examples of vintage, sports, racing, classic and grand touring automobiles manufactured before the 1973 model year.
Each year a new route covers 1,000 miles of beautiful desert terrain, verdant river valley and alpine landscape throughout the state of Arizona and beyond.

As the collector car hobby has evolved into a lifestyle, more and more collectors are driving and enjoying their vintage automobiles. The Copperstate 1000 is the epitome of such a lifestyle event. Participants are free to share four days of glorious driving and the sheer exhilaration of the open road with fellow enthusiasts while having only the sheer exhilaration of the open road. Our capable staaff handles all the details.

The Copperstate 1000 accepts approximately 75 qualifying vintage automobiles with drivers and co-drivers from the all over United States, as well as Canada, Mexico and Europe. Entrants pay a fee and enjoy a fully catered 4-day event. The contacts made during these rallies often develop into life long friendships, with many participants returning year after year.
